A Voice from the Eastern Door
Thank you,
On September 26th 2013, when I was doing some maintenance in the Maple-hackory Trail, at the Lake St-François National Wildlife Area, I fell on a rock. With an intense pain in the back, I couldn't get up on my feet. Then, a rescue team came to help me on this trail, about 1 km away from the 132 Road.
I would like to thank this rescue team from Dundee, Fort Covington, Hogansburg Akwesasne and Huntingdon. In all, 25 persons were ready to give me a hand in less than 30 minutes with emergency quads, stretchers and ambulances.
It should be noted that the "survivor" (Patrick Laniel - me!) was totally re-established in less than 3 weeks after the accident, because the rock didn't not touch any dorsal vertebras :)
