CORRECTION

Demetri A. LaFrance was stabbed by Tyson L. Gonyou, an uninvited guest at a private residential party on Raquette Point. The victim and the defendant knew each other; they both reside in Raquette Point. The second degree assault charge was based on the extent of the physical injury to the victim. The district attorney felt the injuries did not rise to the level of serious physical injury and were not life threatening.
