HOURLY WAGE: $12.88

The Akwesasne Boys & Girls Club is seeking energetic and creative individuals to work in a fast paced after school program.

Job Responsibilities:

The Sports, Fitness and Recreation Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation and supervision of our sports, fitness and recreation program for the Akwesasne Boys & Girls Club. The Sports, Fitness and Recreation program is a core program of the Club that develops fitness, positive use of leisure time, skills for stress management, appreciation for the environment and social and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

Two year degree from an accredited college in child development or similar with two (2) years of work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar youth organization. Proficient in Microsoft Office including but not limited to Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Publisher. Knowledge and understanding of the Akwesasne community, values, traditions and social norms.
