AMBE celebrates "Taseia'tenha ne Iesanonhnha/Bring Your parents to School" Day

The Ahkwesahsne Mohawk Board of Education (AMBE) is inviting parents and/or guardians to the upcoming “Taseia’tenha ne Iesanonhnha/Bring Your Parents to School” Days. This year will mark the seventh year of this successful event. Parents can visit their child’s school from 8:30-11:40 a.m. The schedule is as follows:

Kentenhko:wa/November 5, 2013 Kana:takon School

Kentenhko:wa/November 6, 2013 Ahkwesahsne Mohawk School

Kentenhko:wa/November 7, 2013 Tsi Snaihne School

This event will provide the opportunity for parents to experience what their child does every day at school. AMBE believes that parental participation is important in every child’s education and welcomes all parents to their schools.
