Seasons are changing! With the colder weather approaching, it is important for our Residents to have their lighter summer clothing removed from their closets. Some residents are fortunate enough to have a brand new wardrobe purchased for them by family members when the seasons change.

Of course, if your loved one has a favorite item of clothing, do not hesitate to buy three or four of the identical piece of clothing. This way, a favorite item will not be missed when sent to laundry and the individual will not feel deprived of their “favorite” sweater/shirt/blouse etc.

Unfortunately, there is no storage space available for residents. Families are asked to remove seasonal clothing and store elsewhere.

Families and staff members at Tsiionkwanonhso:te do not solicit clothing for the Residents from the community. While we appreciate your willingness to help, there is no need to drop off clothing donations. If you get a request for help please call 613-932-1409 for clarification.

Community Mass at Tsiionkwanonhso:te is on October 26th at 6:30p.m. with Father Jerome Pastores officiating.

Halloween Trick or Treating on October 31st! Residents and staff will be playing Halloween games in the Lobby on Halloween night. They look forward to seeing the “ghosts” and “goblins” out trick or treating so be sure to stop in for your treats!

Monday Night Community Bingo is back starting October 28th, doors open at 6p.m. and games begin at 7p.m., concession is available. Call Teresa at 613-932-1409 ext. 4 for more information.

Secondary Students are encouraged to help on Monday night Bingo from 6pm to 8pm.

Tasks include: room setup & cleanup; selling bingo cards; sitting with Residents; a bingo caller; concession attendant.
