PERMANENT FULL-TIME POSITION IONKWANONHSASE’TSI – ADOLESCENT TREATMENT CENTER DEPT. OF SOCIAL
Pay Level: DS 5 - $51,181.82 - $53,229.09
Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the incumbent is responsible to clinically supervise the Adolescent Treatment Centre, Case Supervisors and Case Aides to ensure individual client care plans of each client are appropriately managed and the medical and treatment plans are administered and followed according to medical/clinical recommendations as well as policy and procedures.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in field of Counseling, Mental Health or a related social service discipline; w/ two years work experience OR Bachelors Degree in the field of Social Work, Nursing, or Treatment and Recovery (ICADC), with three (3) to five (5) years experience; Must have strong professional knowledge and comprehensive clinical assessment skills in treatment, recovery or disease management;
Must demonstrate administration experience, understanding of adolescent behavior and addiction issues (written documentation in the resume or letter of interest). Must be able to work in a team environment and have supervisory skills. Knowledge and understanding of the Mohawk Culture, its ceremonies and its traditional teachings are desirable. Ability to speak the Mohawk Language considered an asset.
