Rheal Leroux, 47, of Williamstown, Ont. was ticketed by Tribal Police for speeding at 8:46 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5. Police said he was going 51 M.P.H. in a 35 M.P.H. zone on State Route 37. He is to appear in Tribal Court on October 28.
Stephen Tomascik, 30, of St. Orleans, Ont. was ticketed by Tribal Police for speeding at 8:09 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5. Police said he was going 53 M.P.H. in a 35 M.P.H. zone on State Route 37. He is to appear in Tribal Court on October 28.
Kelly A. McDonald, 44, of Moira was ticketed by Tribal Police for speeding at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5. Police said she was going 50 M.P.H. in a 35 M.P.H. zone on State Route 37. She is to appear in Tribal Court on October 28.
Richard A. Greer, 60, of Cornwall, Ont. was ticketed by Tribal Police for speeding at 7:19 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5. Police said he was going 53 M.P.H. in a 35 M.P.H. zone on State Route 37. He is to appear in Tribal Court on October 28.
Detwin G. Curleyhead, 20, of Akwesasne, Que. was arrested by Tribal Police at 12:31 a.m. on Friday, October 4 on an unspecified outstanding warrant. He was also ticketed for inadequate headlight. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and remanded to the Franklin County Jail, Malone in lieu of $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond with orders to reappear on October 8.
Shyla H. Cook, 22, of Akwesasne, Que. was arrested by Tribal Police and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to use designated lane at 10:32 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3 on McGee Road. She is to appear in Bombay Town Court on October 29.
Charles W. Ayotte, 28, of Massena was arrested by Tribal Police and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated – blood alcohol content of 0.18 or more, driving while intoxicated, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on highway and following too closely at 11:37 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2. Police allege Ayotte’s blood alcohol content was 0.19 percent. He is to answer to the charges in Bombay Town Court on October 29.
Chad E. Thompson, 22, of Rooseveltown was ticketed by Tribal Police for inadequate headlights at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2 on State Route 37. He is to appear in Bombay Town Court on October 22.
Krysta L. Barilko, 21, of Hogansburg was ticketed by Tribal Police for inadequate plate lamp at 9:03 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1. She is to appear in Bombay Town Court on October 22.
Maurice A. Patenaude, 17, of Fort Covington was ticketed by Tribal Police for speeding at 5:38 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Police said he was going 62 M.P.H. in a 35 M.P.H. zone on Cook Road. He is to appear in Tribal Court on October 21.
Kierian D. Jacobs, 17, of Akwesasne, Ont. was cited by State Troopers with unlawful possession of marijuana at 2:10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6 at the international bridge Massena port of entry. He was released with an appearance ticket for a later date.
Rayna E. Roundpoint, 24, of Hogansburg and Samantha A. Nassimos, 20, of Saranac Lake were each cited by State Troopers with unlawful possession of marijuana at 3:46 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4. on U.S. Route 11 in Malone. They were released with appearance tickets for a later date.
Raeanne L. Benedict, 33, of Hogansburg was arrested by State Troopers and charged with two counts of petit larceny at 3:40 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4. She was released on an appearance ticket for a later date.
Rachel L. Oakes, 24, of 189 Wade LaFrance Road, Snye, Que. was arrested by Massena Village Police and charged with petit larceny at 3:50 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 30 at Walmart Supercenter.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 20-year-old man from Akwesasne was arrested on the 5th of October, 2013 and charged with breaching his Conditional Sentence Order by being out past curfew, having consumed alcohol, not remaining within the jurisdiction of Beauharnois, not to possess weapons, causing a disturbance and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that in the early hours of the 5th of October, 2013 police were called to a disturbance on Alice Street and an investigation ensued. During their investigation they spotted a man yelling and screaming then running from the area, the man was intercepted by police and questioned. During their questioning police observed the man to be intoxicated and took him into custody for breaching his conditions. The man was also found to be carrying a prohibited weapon (knife). The man was subsequently charged accordingly, taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing. The man’s name was not released as per provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act given the order was as a result of charges stemming from when he was a youth.
IMPAIRED, OVER 80
Cornwall, ON – Gerald Thompson, 57 of Hogansburg, NY was arrested on the 5th of October, 2013 and charged with Impaired. It is alleged that the he was operating a motor vehicle when he entered the port of entry while under the influence of alcohol. Thompson was taken into custody by a Custom Officer and was subsequently turned over to Cornwall Community Police where he was charged accordingly. He was later released with a future court date.
