Arrow White, age and address not available, was sentenced Friday in U.S. District Court, Syracuse, to two years in prison conspiracy to distribute marijuana.

Sentencing Judge Glenn T. Suddaby also ordered him to undergo four years’ post-release supervision. On April 13, White pleaded guilty to charges of conspiring to knowingly and intentionally possess marijuana with the intent to distribute the plant.

According to a plea agreement, White admitted delivering marijuana from Akwesasne to Ogdensburg and that he supplied three people with more than 100 kilograms (220 pounds) of marijuana from sometime in 2010 through July 2012. Court documents state he also occasionally drove a lookout vehicle while someone else moved the pot in another car.

Judge Suddaby recommended White be placed in substance abuse rehabilitation while incarcerated and that he serve his sentence as close to home as possible.

Shawn R. Hosler, age not available, of Fort Covington was ticketed by Tribal Police for speeding on State Route 37. He is to appear in Tribal Court on September 9.  

Gregory Roberson, age not available, of Hogansburg was arrested by Tribal Police and charged with second-degree harassment. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and is to return on September 3.  

Lizbeth D. Ryan, age not available, of Cooperstown was arrested by Tribal Police and charged with disorderly conduct. She allegedly was verbally abusive toward Comfort Inn staff. She was released on an appearance ticket for Bombay Town Court returnable on September 17.  

Louise Lessard, 68, of Hogansburg was arrested by Tribal Police and charged with driving while intoxicated, operation of a motor vehicle with blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more, and speeding at 10:22 a.m. am Sunday, August 25. Police allege that Lessard’s blood alcohol content was 0.08 percent. She was released and is to appear in Bombay Town Court on a later date.

William T. Howland, 66, of Cicero was ticketed by Tribal Police for speeding at 10:03 p.m. on Sunday, August 25 on State Route 37. He is to appear in Tribal Court on September 23.

Dari M. Oakes, 41, of Hogansburg was arrested by Tribal Police and charged with driving while intoxicated, operation of a motor vehicle with blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more and failed to use designated lane at 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 25 on State Route 37. Police allege that her blood alcohol content was 0.10 percent. She was released and is to appear in Bombay Town Court on September 17.

Jonathan M. Lindsey, 25, of Massena was arrested by Tribal Police and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation at 10:35 p.m. on Saturday, August 24. He is to appear in Bombay Town Court on September 17. 

Justin N. Moreau, 37, of Bombay was ticketed by Tribal Police for speeding at 8:52 p.m. on Saturday, August 24 on State Route 37. He is to appear in Tribal Court on September 16.

Taylor Martin, 29, of Akwesasne, Que. was ticketed by Tribal Police for unlicensed operation and speed in zone at 11:41 p.m. on Friday, August 23. He is to appear in Tribal Court on September 9.

Gwen E. McKim, 64, of Brockville, Ont. was ticketed by Tribal Police for unlicensed operation and disobeying a traffic sign at 9:57 a.m. on Friday, August 23. She is to appear in Tribal Court on September 9.

Johl W. Benedict, 17, of Hogansburg was arrested by Tribal Police and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief at 3:38 p.m. on Friday, August 23. He is to answer the charge in Bombay Town Court on September 23.

Douglas J. King, 28, of Hogansburg was arrested by Tribal Police and charged with felony first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while intoxicated, refusal to take a breath test, unlawful possession of marijuana, operating a motor vehicle by unlicensed driver and drinking alcohol in motor vehicle on a highway at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 22. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and remanded to the Franklin County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond. King is to re-appear in Bombay Town Court on September 27.

Steven G. Sawinski, 55, of Massena was arrested by Tribal Police and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, failure to use designated lane and possession of a controlled substance in non-original container at 1:31 a.m. on Thursday, August 22. He is to answer the charges in Bombay Town Court on September 10.

Brian J. Boots, 34, of Massena was arrested by Tribal Police and charged with second-degree obstruction governmental administration, driving while intoxicated, disorderly conduct, refusal to take a breath test and speeding at 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and remanded to the Franklin County Jail in lieu of $500 bail or $1,000 bond. Boots is to re-appear in Bombay Town Court on September 10.

Anastasia M. Peters, 26, of Hogansburg was ticketed by Tribal Police for inadequate headlights at 8:49 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20 on State Route 37. She is to appear in Tribal Court on September 2.

Jason L. Gray, 26, of Hogansburg, NY was ticketed by Tribal Police for speeding and unregistered vehicle at 3:53 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20 on Cook Road. He is to appear in Tribal Court on September 9.

Diedre M. Rourke, 49, of Hogansburg was ticketed by Tribal Police for inadequate headlights at 9:59 p.m. on Monday, August 19 on State Route 37. She is to appear in Tribal Court on September 2.

Kimberly A. Jackson, 29, of Hogansburg was ticketed by Tribal Police for inadequate headlights at 9:40 p.m. on Monday, August 19 on Cook Road. She is to appear in Tribal Court on September 2.

Donna M. Roundpoint, 52, of Akwesasne was ticketed by Tribal Police for inadequate stop lamps at 10:34 a.m. on Monday, August 19 on State Route 37. She is to appear in Tribal Court on September 9.

Matthew D. Hemlock, 32, of P.O. Box 83, Hogansburg was arrested by Massena Village Police and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, no seatbelt, using a cell phone while driving, and unlicensed operator at 9:51 a.m. on Friday, August 23 on South Main Street.

On June 18, 2013 Jeffrey L. Johnson, 45, of Akwesasne accepted a plea offer from the Franklin County District Attorney’s office of Criminal Obstruction of Breathing (class A Misdemeanor) in satisfaction of charges, Strangulation 2nd Degree and Harassment 2nd degree, stemming from an incident on June 30, 2012.  Mr. Johnson did appear in front of Bombay Town Justice Curtis Smith and was sentenced to three years probation for the guilty plea.

Olivia Terrance, 28, of Hogansburg, New York, pled guilty to participating in a conspiracy in 2009 and 2010 to smuggle over 18,000 endangered and threatened reptiles from the United States into Canada, in violation of Title 18 United States Code section 371. Judge Norman A. Mordue sentenced Terrance to 18 months in jail to be followed by 3 years of supervised release.

Terrance smuggled turtles and reptiles worth hundreds of thousands of dollars into Canada where they were sold to retailers and collectors. She was caught when law enforcement followed her by car and helicopter after she received a shipment of wildlife and transported it by boat into Canada.
