A rib eye steak benefit was held on Thurs. August 8th at the Mohawk Nation cookhouse. The funds raised will be used to repair and maintain the building.
If you missed this benefit, you can still make the next one, planned for Thurs. Aug. 22nd from 11am to 2pm. Craft vendors, fresh produce from local gardens and yard sale items will also be available.
Donations for the upcoming benefit can be dropped off at the Cookhouse or the Nation office. Donations of drinks, baked potatoes, salads or ohwistha would be appreciated. If you can’t make it but would still like to donate, you can send it to: Mohawk Nation Office, 398 State Rt. 37, Akwesasne NY 13655 Attn: Rebuilding fund or call (518) 358-3381.
