Notice to the Community

This is to inform the community that the following persons have applied for Akwesasne Membership under the Akwesasne Membership Code.

Amanda, age 16, Alison, age 14 and Andrew, age 12, children of Travis Seymour (Akwesasne) and Ann (Johns) Seymour (Wikwemikong).

Aiden, age 3, Jacob, age 1, and Mason, age 1, children of Misty Lazare (Akwesasne) and Jeffrey Edwards (Non-Indian).

Alisha Deer, age 18, daughter of Duane Rourke (Akwesasne) and Kristen Deer (Kahnawake).

The following persons have applied for a Residency Permit:

Timothy Oakes, age 22, son of Damon Oakes (Akwesasne) and Carolynne (Hatje) Oakes (non-Indian)

Stacey Huff, age 49, registered with the Moravians of the Thames.

Kieler Lahache, age 21, registered with the Mohawks of Kahnawake.

Amber Lee Benedict, age 25, daughter of Thomas Michael Benedict (Akwesasne) and Suzanne Swortfiguer (non-Indian).

The following persons have applied for renewal of their Residency Permits:

Robert Green, age 45, registered with Six Nations

Belson Jones, age 63, enrolled with Onondaga

Laura Rose Thompson, age 25, daughter of Marlene Thompson (Akwesasne) and Raymond Secord (non-Indian).

Community Members have until Friday, August 2, 2013 to indicate whether they wish to make submissions regarding the above individuals.

Correction to the community notice of May 30 and June 7 stating the Membership Board approved the Membership Application of Sarah Whitebean.  The Membership Board tabled her Membership application.
