JUSTICE COORDINATOR

Salary Level: SP-09 - $42,430.90 - $44,128.13

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the Director of Justice the incumbent is responsible for providing support services and assistance in the implementation and continued development of the Justice Department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Two years of College and/or University Degree in a field of communications, political sciences, with at least three years of work experience related to office management; law and security; political science; justice administration; and/or First Nation issues; or Secondary School with at least five years of relevant work experience, working in a First Nations organization and with experience in First Nation legislative drafting; Must have a clean Criminal Record.

The incumbent must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and leadership skills. Must adhere to the strict principles of confidentiality and be able to handle moderate to heavy work load; must possess a valid driver’s license and willing to use personal vehicle during course of employment. Speaking and understanding the Mohawk language is considered an asset.
