Position:  Financial Manager

Job Purpose:  As a Financial Manager you will be responsible for the organization’s financial plans and policies, preparing complex budgets for annual planning, providing summaries and forecasts for future business growth and general economic outlook, as well as other cost accounting.  You will be expected to abide by a strict confidentiality agreement.  

Job Duties:

· Responsible for the month-end and year-end closing process as well as coordinating day-to-day accounting for a multitude of industries.

· Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial records to ensure accuracy.

· Analyze policies and procedures making appropriate alterations to ensure efficiency.

· Utilize financial reports, budgets, cost reports and financial forecasts to provide guidance and insight in different areas of development.  

· Coordinate financial tasks and duties for various projects and industries ensuring that all time lines are met and that all information is accurate.

· Present financial forecasts, budgets, trends, and outlooks to management team on a monthly basis.

 · Directly supervise a finance staff of approximately five people.

Qualifications:  Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related area with at least five (5) years experience working in mid-size to large corporation with at least two (2) years supervisory responsibilities.  Must have strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and taxation knowledge.  Applicants must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively under pressure and be able to effectively multi-task.  Prior experience working with Native American enterprises is an asset.
