FULL - TIME TERM – POSITION (June – October)

IONKWANONHSASE’TSI – ADOLESCENT TREATMENT CENTER

SALARY LEVEL: DS 01 - $55,412.00 - $59,934.00

Position Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager and the Clinical Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for providing shift supervision to ensure client monitoring within the prescribed program plan and delivery of an addictions program.

Qualifications:

A Bachelors Degree in the field of Social Work or equivalent with three years documented supervisory experience in a related field; Certification as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICADC) is an asset.

The incumbent should have knowledge of adolescent development; knowledge of basic adolescent service concepts; skills in addressing adolescent dysfunctional behaviors, addressing crisis situations, responding to adolescent concerns, and motivating adolescents to change. Knowledge of basic adolescent program care procedures within the concepts of Alcohol/ Drug usage.

Knowledge of Case Consultation review team functions including plan assessments, planning, consultation and monitoring. Must have valid drivers’ license and be willing to use personal vehicle during course of employment. Ability to speak the Mohawk language considered an asset.
