How can I sell my beadwork on Facebook?

I know of a few artists in Akwesasne that are selling their art on Facebook.  How can I get in on that action?

Check out previous Indian Time articles about selling on Etsy.com for more details.  In addition, setup your Facebook profile with your Artist information.  Facebook changes their layout frequently, so I’ll give you general instructions.  Look for your Facebook Settings (it’s usually a little gear icon at the top right of the webpage).  Click Create Ad or Manage Ad.  You will want to plan to spend at least 30 minutes looking at all the options you have to advertise yourself on Facebook.  You can advertise on Facebook with a budget of less than $50 and that might last you a few months or a few hours depending on how detailed your target audience is.  If your target audience is really specific, your budget will last much longer.  For example, if you only want females in Akwesasne, with a 613 area code to see your ad, your ad will be shown to very few people and your required ad budget will be much less.
