Salmon River Boys Lacrosse Team Handles Saranac Lake

The Salmon River varsity boy’s lacrosse team steadily pulled away to a 20-3 NAC win over Saranac Lake at home last Wednesday. The Shamrocks continue their undefeated season with an 8-0 record.

Skyler Thomas generated four goals and six assists to spark the attack as the Shamrocks ran out to an 11-1 halftime lead. Dalston Day chipped in two goals and set up five. Kason Tarbell (2 assists) and Karonhiate Lazore finished with four goals each, while Frank David tallied two goals and one assist. Trenton Tarbell (1 assist) Skye Sunday, Lakota Square, and Cody Lazore added singletons.

Seth Pickering scored all three goals for the Saranac Lake Red Storm.

Taz Oakes (5 saves) and Randy Peters (4 saves) shared crease duties for the Shamrocks while Mike Burpoe and Jacob Merrill stopped a combined 24 shots for Saranac Lake.
