Dee Hart Claims Kaged Kombat 145 lbs. Belt With 4th Round TKO

Saratoga – It was a momentous night for D & B Combat Sports as D & B MMA fighter Derek “Dee” Hart took the belt away from current Kaged Kombat belt holder Kiril Gron with a 4th Round TKO.

As the 1st round started, Gron came out quick as he attempted to get Hart into a choke, but Hart being more prepared than his previous bout with Gron, stayed standing up and wouldn’t let Gron bring him to the ground. For much of the 1st Round Gron kept falling and laying down on the canvas trying to lure Hart into his ground game. Hart now realizing how Gron fights stayed standing up and threw body kicks on Gron as he lay on the canvas.

As the 2nd round began, Hart knew what the plan for success was and from watching the fight you could firmly tell Hart knew what was going on. He continued to throw body kicks to weaken Gron. Gron continued his “fall on the canvas” tactics and Hart continued to stay with his stand up game, which proved to be very beneficial.

As the 3rd round began, Hart continued with a series of solid rights and lefts to rock Gron, but Gron went to his back as he had previously done and pulled in Hart. Hart knowing exactly what to do, pulled out of the choke and start pounding Gron until time expired.

As the 4th round came around, Gron, now significantly winded and roughed up and looking to win by any means necessary, came in for a grapples which proved to be fatal as he and Hart fell to the ground. Hart gained the advantage on top and pinned Gron, and with a series of crushing right and left blows ended the match by way of TKO.

Congratulations on winning the Kaged Kombat 145 lbs. Belt and making Akwesasne proud.
