A Voice from the Eastern Door
(HOGANSBURG, NY) – In celebration of National Car Care Month in April, Swamp’s Performance Automotive is holding Cruisin’ For Kids; a Car & Bike show with a complimentary drive-thru vehicle safety check for all attendees. The event will take place on Saturday April 27th, from 11am till 3pm at Jacobs Manufacturing. The event is free; all donations collected will benefit The Akwesasne Boys & Girls Club and the Akwesasne Freedom School.
Stop by and let Swamp’s certified technicians identify opportunities for you to improve your vehicle’s gas mileage, enhance performance, reduce emissions and most importantly increase safety. There will also be chicken BBQ, vendors, raffles, bounce houses, music and more. If you wish to enter your car or bike into the show, the registration fee is six dollars and registration begins at 10 am.
National Car Care Month is a nationwide effort to focus motorists’ attention on the importance of vehicle care and maintenance. During National Car Care Month, many repair facilities and auto parts stores join local businesses, civic groups, radio stations and others to sponsor free vehicle check-ups.
The inspections include checking fluid levels, tires, lights and other system components. After the inspection is completed, the Swamp’s Automotive team will review any discrepancies with the motorist and provide information about proper vehicle maintenance and repair. The goal of check lanes is to help motorists learn how to “Be Car Care Aware.”
“We’ve been hosting Ladies Car Care Clinics for the past several months and have had awesome turn outs, so we wanted to do something a little bigger that involves the whole community. What better way to give back than to support our future generation,” said Casey Swamp, owner of Swamp’s Performance Automotive.
