On Friday, the Kanatakon School held its Awards Assembly for the month of February. Principal Alice King emceed the event, and the Kanatakon School has a few different awards to motivate their students to excel in different areas. There are Students of the Month, for which students receive a certificate, and a Physical Education Award, which earns students a necklace. Showing Good Character gets students a feather and an award called “Caught You Speaking Kanienkeha” for students who get caught speaking Kanienkeha outside of the classroom. All of the award recipients were treated to a pizza lunch for their great work. Congratulations students!
