Troy- It was a rough night for the Salmon River Girls Basketball Team as they were defeated by Waterloo at a score of 65-53 in the NYS Class B Semifinal Game.
Salmon River and Waterloo played basket for basket most of the game with the halftime score being 31-27. Shamrocks’ Aliyah Cook led the offense with 15 points while Kwiio King and Abby Kelly chipping in 11 points and Jaiden Mitchell putting in 10 points. Johnson led all shooters with 26 points and 8 rebounds and Steinruck added 21 points including four 3-pointers.
