Emmah Herne made a path of gold, and she said the leprechaun will follow it and the box will fall and trap him.
Ariyah LaFrance said the leprechaun would go after the pot of gold and then fall into the hole.
Ella Terrance said the leprechaun would walk into the box to get the gold and the top would fall and trap him.
The first graders at the St. Regis Mohawk School made leprechaun traps. It was a family project for all of first grade and the first grade teachers said the kids and parents did a great job!
