Please be advised that an informational meeting is being held to inform community members about the programs and services currently offered by MCA’s Department of Community and Social Services (DCSS).
The Department of Community and Social Services is dedicated to building healthy, strong families. This informational meeting is an opportunity for community members to come out and learn more about the five programs within the department: the Akwesasne Child Care Program, Akwesasne Child and Family Services, Iethinisten:ha Family Wellness Program, Ionkwanonhsasetsi Adolescent Treatment Facility, and the Community Support Program. Each program manager will be in attendance to provide a presentation on their respective programs. The DCSS Portfolio Chiefs will also be in attendance.
The DCSS informational meeting will take place on Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 6:00- 8:00 pm at the Tri-District Elders Building on Kawehno:ke. All interested community members are welcome and invited to attend.
