LOCAL RESIDENT NAMED TO DEAN’S LIST AT MIDDLEBURY COLLEGE

Middlebury, VT, Anna Kelly, daughter of Bruce and Jocelyn Kelly of Hogansburg, was named to the Dean’s List during the fall term at Middlebury College. The Dean’s List is the second highest recognition for academic achievement at the liberal arts institution in Vermont.

To be selected for the Dean’s List, students must carry a full course load of four or more classes during the semester, achieve a grade point average of 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher and earn no grade lower than a B minus.

Situated in Vermont’s Champlain Valley with the Green Mountains to the East and the Adirondacks to the West, Middlebury College was founded in 1800 and is a top-tier liberal arts college. As one of the most selective colleges in the country, Middlebury is home to about 2,350 undergraduate students and offers a student to faculty ratio of 9:1.
