FINE

Massena, NY - Iohahiio, 28, of Hogansburg, was fined by Massena Town Justice James M. Crandall $500 and a $260 surcharge after a driving while intoxicated count was reduced to driving while ability impaired for an incident on Jan. 8 at the U.S. port of entry. His operating privileges were suspended for 90 days.

SPEEDING

Massena, NY - Barry M. Montour, 50, of Hogansburg, was ticketed by MassenaVillage police on Saturday for speed in zone at 10:47 a.m. on East Hatfield Street.

FORGERY

Canton, NY - Jonathan Burwell, 22, of Hogansburg, was indicted by a St. Lawrence County grand jury on five counts of first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. He is accused of being found in possession of five forged $50 bills on Feb. 15.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON - Adam Francis, 19, of Akwesasne, was arrested on December 10th, 2012 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that he failed to attend court on November 22nd, 2012 and a bench warrant was issued. He was held in custody until court later that day.
