Ottawa, Ontario, November 19, 2012 — The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) reminds travellers to plan their border crossing to avoid delays during the upcoming Black Friday / U.S. Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
In anticipation of higher traffic volumes, travellers are advised to consider the potential for delays at the following dates and times:
Travellers that enter Canada via the Cornwall port of entry, where peak traffic volumes are anticipated to be between 12 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Friday, November 23, between 12 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, November 24, and between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Sunday, November 25, when border wait times may exceed 60 minutes.
