Barbara Montour Elected New Acting CKON Board of Director’s Member

On Thursday night the acting CKON Board of Directors held a special meeting to fill a vacancy. HAVFD station # 1 was nearly empty as only a handful community members attended. President Jerry Cook introduced the current acting board and explained the staggered memberships. He then called for nominations of the vacant seat. Irene Cook nominated Barbara Montour, and the nomination was seconded by Jimmy Cook. A vote was had and Montour was unanimously voted in, with a total of nine votes, which included acting board members all voting yes. Jerry Cook announced that board meetings are held every month on the second Wednesday, and the annual meetings will be held every June.
