On Friday, November 2nd, Tsi Snaihne School held a Student Council Election.
Classroom Representatives were selected for grades 1-5, as well as a Treasurer, Secretary and School President. The Student Council will meet once a month with the school principal, Mrs. Brown. The responsibilities of the student council include discussing any ideas, questions or concerns that students may have, selecting one student activity per month, and choosing an organization in the community to raise funds for throughout the school year.
Congratulations to all members of the Tsi Snaihne Student Council on their new positions of leadership within the school community. Niawenko:wa to Core Language teacher, Ms. Lazore for her assistance with the election campaign.
