Tribal Offices to be Closed on November 22 & 23, 2012

Akwesasne Territory - All of the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal offices will be closed on Thursday, November 22 and on Friday, November 23, 2012 in observance of Thanksgiving and Native American Day.  Emergency services, such as tribal police, the fire department, group home and emergency medical services will remain in operation, but all program offices in the Tribal Community Building, child care, health facilities, Headstart, and all other tribal programs will be closed.  The Solid Waste Transfer station will be closed on Thursday, November 22, but will re-open for normal hours on Friday, November 23, 2012.

Tribal offices and programs will be back in full operation at their regular hours on Monday, November 26, 2012.  Community members are asked to please keep these dates in mind and plan accordingly.
