Sexual Assault Advocate

Division: Three Sisters Program Salary: $17,680 – 36,108.80   (21-1093)

Status: Full-time, Non-exempt Deadline: Kentenhkó:wa/November 9, 2012

Description of Position: Responsible for advocating and supporting victims of sexual assault and family violence.  Responsibility includes carrying a multiple caseload and offer support to victims of rape and sexual assault.  Also responsible for bringing awareness of sexual assault and the Program to community members and networking agencies.

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s of Arts in Sociology, Psychology or Social Work.  Knowledge of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking. Strong communication skills, both oral and written.  Must have the ability to understand and evaluate the needs of sexual assault victims.
