‘Teacher’s Tea’ to Honor the Contributions of Teachers in Recognition of World Teacher’s Day

Akwesasne, Ontario – World Teacher’s Day is sponsored by the UN and held annually on October 5. It is a day to honor the contributions of teachers.

This is your invitation to attend a ‘Teacher’s Tea’ hosted by Tsiionkwanonhso:te on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 2pm.

Our special guest will be a longtime volunteer at Tsiionkwanonhso:te, Jocelyn Fraser. Jocelyn is a retired teacher with a long history and connection to Akwesasne Mohawk students.

Up until two years ago, Jocelyn made weekly visits to Tsiionkwanonhso:te with her dogs. Residents were familiar with many dogs over the years.

We hope to hear many stories and recollections as our Resident teachers and Jocelyn reminisces.
