Harold Wilbert Edwards, Sr.

AKWESASNE – Mr. Harold W. Edwards, Sr., age 80, passed away early Monday morning, September 17, 2012 at his home under the loving care of his granddaughter, Hattie, and his home care workers.

He is survived by his children, Mike and Kelly, Elizabeth, Rodney, Alan, Charlie A., and Roseanne Edwards; his grandchildren, Crystal Lazore, Mike Jr., Lacey, Jarrett, Kacey, Hattie, Todd, Clint, and Harlen Edwards, Jaid Edwards-Boots, Brandi and Raven Edwards, Deacon Hall, Thunder and Chazlynn Cook, Nicole Winder, and Destin Thomas; 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son, Harold W. Edwards, Jr .; his grandson, Cory Edwards; his parents, Peter Edwards and Elizabeth Square Edwards Jock; his adopted parents, Ira and Mary Benedict; his sister, Delores Herne and his brother, Thomas Jock.

Harold’s family wishes to extend the deepest thanks and gratitude to his home care workers, Margaret Thompson and Beverly Chubb, for their excellent care and support given to him during his illness.

To respect his wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
