Kanatakon Paving Projects

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Technical Services is notifying community members that the parking lot behind the Angus Mitchell Memorial Building (also known as the Justice Building) and the Administration #4 Building in Kanatakon are being paved. Work began on Tuesday, September 12th and will last for two weeks, with a completion date planned for Thursday, September 27th.

The paving project at the Administration #4 Building, which serves as the location for MCA’s Housing Department, will be a new parking lot and will provide more convenient parking for community members.

For the Angus Mitchell Memorial Building, community members may continue to use the parking lot located directly in front to access the post office.
