Jr. B Indians Vie for Founders Cup, Thank Fans

The Akwesasne Jr. B Indians would like to express a big Thank You to all the fans that supported them throughout the year. It was a great feeling to see a full house at the last game against Six Nations.

We extend a huge thank you to our sponsors and to the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne for the donation to help with travel expenses on our road to the Founders Cup in Six Nations. To all of our fans, families and friends, Thank you all for your support this yeaThe first game for the Founders Cup was on Tuesday August 14 at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena, and the Indians beat out the Iroquois Lacrosse Association Team 23-9.

The second game was on Wednesday August 15th at 11:45 am against the Saskatchewan SWAT. The Indians beat the SWAT with an unofficial final of 15-7. Their next game is Thursday August 16 at 11:45am against Quebec. Medal games are on Sunday August 19.
