Annual Salary: Pay Band 9 ($54,162.27 - $66,681.94)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Tehotiiennawakon, the Economic Development Officer (EDO) is responsible for the operation, promotion and day-to-day management of the Economic Development program, supervises staff, develops and plans the Economic Development Program and Economic Development functions by creating an environment in which business development can prosper.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Public Administration or Economics is required with a minimum of two (2) years experience in a related setting with a strong background and knowledge in management OR completion of a Post Secondary Degree in Business Administration or Economics with five (5) years experience in related setting with a strong background and knowledge in management. Certification as an Economic Development Officer is an asset. The incumbent must have a valid Driver’s License and be willing to use personal vehicle during the course of employment.
