FIREARM, BREACH & THREATS
Cornwall, ON- Jaimee Lee Square, 32 of Akwesasne was arrested on July 26th, 2012. She was bound by a Recognizance with the condition to not possess any firearm, cross bow, weapons, ammo, or explosives. It is alleged that on July 26th, 2012 she attended a 40-year-old female acquaintance’s residence and threatened her while having in her possession a firearm. The victim was not physically injured. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was charged with Point Firearm, Occupant of Motor Vehicle knowing there was a firearm, Fail to Comply with Recognizance, Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, Unauthorized Possession of Firearm and Utter Threat to Cause Death. She was held in custody until court the following day.
DWI - Jolene A. Garrow, 20, of Hogansburg was charged by Massena-based state police with driving while intoxicated, operation of a vehicle with a suspended registration and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 3:49 a.m. Saturday on state Route 37 in the town of Bombay.
UNINSPECTED MOTOR VEHICLE - Timothy J. Herne, 21, of Rooseveltown was ticketed by Massena village police for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle and failure to signal following a traffic stop at 2:57 p.m. Saturday on Main St., Massena.
TRIBAL POLICE INVESTIGATING APPARENT ACCIDENTAL DEATH
Akwesasne Territory - At approximately 9:00 a.m. Sunday July 29, 2012, Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police responded to a 911 emergency call at a residence at 149 Helena Road, Akwesasne, New York. Preliminary investigation has revealed the apparent accidental death of 74 year-old male, Percy Francis of Cornwall Island, Akwesasne, Ontario. Francis was transported to Massena Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased from injuries he sustained after a fall. The investigation continues pending the outcome of the autopsy.
IMPAIRED OPERATION
Cornwall, ON- Sean LaFrance, 20, of Akwesasne Quebec was arrested on the 29th of July 2012. It is alleged that she operated a motor vehicle on Pitt Street while under the influence of alcohol when she collided with a parked car. Police were contacted and she was later located driving the vehicle. She was charged with Impaired Operation and further testing resulted in a charge of Over .80. She was subsequently released to appear in court on the 14th of August 2012.
ARREST WARRANT - April M. Burns, 26, of 12 St. Regis Road, Hogansburg, was picked up by Massena village police on a federal arrest warrant at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday on Stephenville Road. She was turned over to the U.S. Border Patrol.
UNLICENSED OPERATOR - Angelena C. Frost, 26, of St. Regis, Que., was ticketed by Massena village police for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 1:37 p.m. Tuesday on Stephenville Road.
