The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is seeking to recruit and employ skilled general labour workers in Technical Services and Lands Management/Environment.
WHO CAN APPLY
Enrolled Members of the Mohawks of Akwesasne and residing within the Akwesasne Mohawk Territory.
WHAT ARE THE DUTIES:
Skilled workers are required to work in extremely mobile positions in the areas of Department of Technical Services and Lands Management/Environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Persons skilled in general labour practices such as carpentry, masonry, tree cutting and trimming, lawn maintenance, experience in other trades or services including the skilled iron worker trade, welding, plumbing, electrical, drywall, landscaping, metal/steel fabrication and infrastructure maintenance etc.
WHERE ARE THE POSITIONS
Up to 20 positions – 10 in Lands Management/Environment
10 in Department of Technical Services
TERM PERIOD: Up to 26 weeks
SALARY: $16.70 PER HOUR – 40 HOURS PER WEEK
