Stephanie Delormier

Stephanie is a student at St. Lawrence College taking classes to be a registered practical nurse. She is interning at AMA through the MCA Summer Student Program, and has been there since the beginning of June. Through her experience, she realizes she would like to be an EMT. She likes that the job is not repetitive, and an EMT never knows how their day will go. Stephanie told me of a call about a patient with possible respiratory arrest. She described the call as intense and fast-paced because of the police involvement and having to perform CPR while traveling to the hospital at high speeds. This fall, Stephanie will pick up night classes for the EMT course, while still taking the nursing classes in the daytime. Stephanie is at AMA until the end of August, and we thank her for her service, and future service. We hope to see you at AMA as an EMT next year!
