Scale House Attendant

Division: Environment Salary: $19,468.80 – 36,108.80   43-5111

Status:  Part-time 20 hours per week, Non-Exempt

Description of Position:  Greets customers, directs customers and other traffic, and answers questions accurately, ensures that incoming garbage loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material, provides general upkeep of the Scale House, completes all administrative tasks including regular filing, and completes required reports.

Qualifications:  High school diploma or G.E.D with zero to four years previous experience.  Must be at least 18 years of age or older.  Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.  Successfully pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle records check.
