OFFICE OF THE CHIEF ELECTORAL OFFICER COMMUNITY NOTICE

The Akwesasne Membership Board and the Ahkwesahsne Mohawk Board of Education has

requested that a By Election be held for one (1) position on each Board.

The By Election process for the two Boards will be held on the same day.

Nominations for the Akwesasne Membership Board: 3-years remaining of a 4 year term ending

on October 15, 2015, and the Ahkwesahsne Mohawk Board of Education: 2 years remaining of a

3 year term which will end on June 30, 2014 will be held on Saturday August 4, 2012 at the Tri

District Elders Lodge on Cornwall Island from the hours of 9am to 4p.m.

Advanced Polls will be held on Monday, August 20, 2012 at the Angus Mitchell Memorial

Building (Justice Building) by appointment only. Please call 613-575-2250 Ext 2406, or my cell
