Massena hosted the Salmon River Shamrocks in NAC action last week. Massena started strong and took a 6-0 lead in the first inning and ended strong in the bottom of the fifth after seven runs to claim a 17-1 victory
Sierra Streeter claimed the win with two strike outs and walking none while allowing only three singles.
Marrisa Manley (3rs), Bailey Dillabough (2B, 2 rs), Mackenzie Young (2B, 2rs), Kharlene Garrow (2rs) and Kayleigh Zappia all delivered two hits. Jessielee Cole singled and scored two runs. Kim Clark scored a pair of runs as courtesy runner for Sierra Streeter, who singled once along with Chelsea Streeter (rs). Taylor Peets scored a single run.
For Salmon River Abby Kelly drilled an RBI-single while Kaitlyn and Amanda Reyome connected for the other hits.
