Lady Raiders Power Past Saranac Lake

The Massena Red Raider girls played host to Saranac Lake and continued their winning ways with a 22-1 victory.

The Lady Raiders rattled off 15 goals in the first half to make the score 15-1. They then continued on to improve their NAC record to 6-0 and 7-1 overall.

Shannon Casey and Megan Han led a balanced attack with three goals each. Courtney Manley (1 assist), Megan Poupore, Shaydi Oakes, Annie Casey and Alanna Pyke each contributed two goals. Dominique Valancius (1 assist), Hanna Gleason, Bethany Rogers, Emma Dupree and Carlie Leary all netted singletons while Mia Jermano added a single helper.

Alisha Jacobs started in the net and turned aside one shot. After the first half she turned over net minding duty to Felicity Love who recorded three saves. Jacobs finished the game as an offensive player with two goals and four assists.

Rita Munn netted the only goal for Saranac Lake while goaltender Katey Snyder recorded seven saves.
