We are on our way home now and the boys are so ready to see all their totas. For the rest of our time spent away from home we had great weather. Big brother got in his fair share of swimming and seashell collecting. He made friends on the ship and loved the Oceaneer’s Lab. We were appreciative that our dinner was always perfect. Little brother loved walking around the ship finding things to do. He tracked down Goofy and Pluto to give them high fives and hugs. He really liked the movie theater on the ship and the live show, both of which he wanted to get up in the row and dance to the musical parts. After we disembarked the cruise ship our family headed to Orlando for a few days of down time. Big brother liked walking around the resort seeing all the lizards, ducks, and squirrels that weren’t afraid of people. He would get so close to them he could touch them but I told him not to. I took him swimming one night after supper and on our way back to our room there was a giant duck in our path. We were trying to walk across a little foot bridge to get to our side of the resort and this duck would not move. I tried waving my arms and being loud to get it to fly away but it wouldn’t budge. Finally big brother and I threw a towel towards it and it moved a whole foot to the side. We ran as fast as we could past it and didn’t stop running until we got to our room. I liked sleeping in those last three mornings. My husband cooked breakfast for our boys so I really got to relax. When we got to the airport this morning the boys were about as excited to go home as they were to go on vacation. We ate lunch at the airport and watched the planes take off and land. Little brother had to be peeled away from the spot so we could go board our plane. The kids wheeled their carry-on luggage through the airport and knocked it into each other. Once we sat down on the plane Big Brother put on his headphones and flipped his personal TV to a channel of his preference. He didn’t move or make a sound for the whole two hours of the flight. Little Brother snuggled up to me and quickly fell asleep before we were done ascending. I’m getting drooled on by him as I type and even though I loved the ten days away, I am glad to be homebound.
