On Thursday April 19th at Mike Nicholas field 47 minutes of lacrosse had been played and the game was not yet determined. With 47 seconds left in regulation play St. Lawrence scored only to have Massena score 14 seconds later to win 13-12.
After the first half the Raiders were ahead 8-5 and had outscored the Larries 4-1 in the second quarter. However, the Larries came out in the second half and went to work pull even. With just 49 seconds left Marshall Burninghausen completed a play set up by teammate Nate Cole.
Not to be outdone, Raider Noah Ransom answered back 14 seconds later off an assist from Jordy Mitchell. The Raiders held on for the win.
Zach Hopps led the Massena offense with four goals and one assist. Ross Driscoll supplied three goals while Eric Kassian netted two goals. Mitchell scored once and added a helper. Rhodes Tarbell, Grayson Phillips and Ransom rounded out the Raider scoring with a goal apiece.
Cole led the Larries with five goals and one assist. Dalton Lottie added three goals and two assists while Cody Burns and Burninghausen each tallied one goal. Blake Baldwin and Ian Lynch finished with solo helpers.
Kyle Cooke stopped 16 shots to give Massena the win. Kody Kocsis turned aside 11 shots for the Larries.
