Salary: Pay Band 6 - $37,461.39 – $46,120.53

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the Program Support Officer the incumbent is responsible for conducting environmental assessments (EA) on all developmental activities within the community for environmental impacts based on the environmental assessment guidelines currently used by the Department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

University or College Degree in Environmental Sciences, Ecology or a related field. Two (2) years of field work within field of study.

Incumbent must have excellent oral, written and communication skills along with excellent computer skills; Knowledge of the Mohawk language, Culture and Akwesasne Community is considered an asset. Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to use personal vehicle during the course of employment.
