On Thursday, April 14th, kindergarten students from AMS and Kanatakon Schools came to Tsi Snaihne School. They were introduced to the grade 1 staff who will be their teacher(s) next year. The principal welcomed them in the school gymnasium and presented them with gifts, they were given a tour of the school and they spent some time in each of the grade 1 classrooms. The visit ended with a snack in the cafeteria. While in the classrooms, some grade 1 students welcomed them by reading a short story to the group. This exercise was an effort to alleviate some of the possible stress associated with moving to a new school next year in grade one.
