Easter Bunny sighted at Snye Recreation

The Snye Recreation Committee held their Annual Easter Activities this past weekend. Breakfast was served each day as well as the Youth Golf Registration and Flea Market with eight vendors for the weekend.

Saturday’s events included a Pie Bingo with the winners taking home one meat and one fruit pie of their choice. The winners of their Special Games also took home a fruit basket and $50.00 grocery gift certificates. The Jackpot winner received a fruit basket and a $100.00 grocery gift certificate. The leftover pies were sold to the remaining bingo players who were not fortunate enough to win a pie. All of the pies were sold by the end of the day.

The winners of the adult Easter Bonnet contest were Chrissy Jacobs, Josephine Lazore and Racine Johnson who each received $50.00.

Sunday’s activities included the children’s Easter Bonnet contest with three different age categories.

No Easter activity is complete without an appearance of the Easter Bunny who dropped in to lead the parade for the Egg Hunt. The rainy weather cleared up just in time for the participants to be able to search for the eggs outside. A total of 168 registered egg hunters participated with 175 baskets drawn.
