The Lady Raiders open up the 2012 lacrosse season with an 18-0 win over the Lady Shamrocks at the Mike Nicholas field in Massena.
Erin Francis struck for four goals and helped set up five to lead the Raider offense attack. Alisha Jacobs fired off four goals while Courtney Manly generated three goals and a helper. Ashlynn Olson netted two goals and two assists. Carlie Leary hit the back of the net twice and Emma Dupree, Hanna Gleason and Shaydi Oakes each added one goal.
Felicity Love stopped three shots for the shutout win in her debut outing as goalie for the Lady Raiders. Tsieboo Herne turned aside two shots for the Lady Shamrocks.
