A Voice from the Eastern Door
This is to advise that Phase III of the Tsi Snaihne Water Supply and Distribution Project has been approved to proceed to construction. The planned work consists of the supply and installation of watermain, hydrants, service connections, well plugging, and related works for the following areas:
Wade Lafrance Memorial Road: McDonald Road to River Road
River Road: From Bittern Creek to Eastern extent
Watermain link between James E. Lazore Memorial Road and Hemlock Road
Lazore’s Construction (General Contractor), in conjunction with Akwesasne Plumbing will be completing the works. Work has begun and during the course of construction residents will notice surveyors, engineers, utility and specialty contractors working in the area.
A Community Meeting will be held at the Snye Recreation Centre on Wednesday, April 18th, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. It is important that the residents on the above-mentioned Roads attend.
