Ethics Commission

The Ethics Office seeks candidates for the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Ethics Commission. The Commission will have five (5) members and three (3) alternates to review and hear testimony of complaints against elected Tribal Officials.

Candidates must meet these criteria: 1) be an enrolled member of the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe, 2) not hold any other elective or full-time appointment to a public office 3) not be an elected or appointed official of the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe, 4) have voted in at least five tribal elections and, 5) be at least 25 years of age.

Those who are selected to the Commission must comply with certain criteria, including a criminal background check, drug screening and educational/job verification.
