Thomas L. Cook

Akwesasne – Mr. Thomas Loran Cook, age 67, a longtime resident of Sweet Flag Estates, passed away early Monday morning, March 19, 2012 at Massena Memorial Hospital.

Tom was born November 5, 1944 in Watertown, the son of the late John B. Cook of Hogansburg and Louise Catherine Chapman Cook.  Tom served in the US Navy from February 13, 1963 until his discharge on May 24, 1967, having served in Vietnam.

Tom worked as maintenance worker with Bob’s Motel until becoming disabled.  He was also a mechanic and was a metal collector.

He is survived by his many friends at Sweet Flag Estates.

Friends may call Friday 4-6 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, where services will be held at 6:00 PM.  Burial will be later in the spring at Pine Meadow Cemetery, Akwesasne.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sweet Flag Estates Activities Fund.
