JOB POSTING SOFTWARE DEVELOPER PERMANENT FULL - TIME POSITION COMPUTER SERVICES

Annual Salary: Pay Band 8 $46,991.59 - $57,853.59

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the Information Systems Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the analysis, development, maintenance and enhancement of all of the personal and corporate software systems and application servers within MCA. Additional responsibilities include ensuring performance, integrity and security of all of the corporate software systems and application servers within MCA. The Software Developer will be responsible for diagnosing, accessing, circumventing and finding solutions for any service incidents and should be proactive in giving advice aimed to prevent the occurrence of service incidents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

University degree or College diploma with three (3) years of specific work experience in a software development field;

Incumbent must have excellent computer skills i.e.: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), MS Access Development, Lotus Notes Development, FileMaker Pro Development, Dream Weaver, Flash, HTML, SQL, ASP and Visual Basic programming languages; Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle; Working knowledge of software development standards and services; Must take certification tests; Incumbent should have the ability to install and administer computer hardware, software and networks. Computer skills including the ability to operate computerized accounting, spreadsheet, word-processing, graphics and website development programs at a highly proficient level,

Must have a valid driver’s license, must be willing to use personal vehicle in the course of employment.
